Reliquary V prowls the sonic abyss, beckoned by something darker and more fractured. Fiercely experimental, with echoes of post-punk, darkwave, and the ritual side of industrial, their music explores dark dream worlds of death, survival, and rebirth.

The solo project of Vesper Guthrie, Reliquary V emerged from a personal reckoning upon returning to Canada after a decade in New York experimental music scenes. From the dissonance and grief of change, Reliquary V grew beyond the ghosts of a former life.

Fed by a gnawing fascination with electronics and gothic themes, influenced by the perpetual rain and dead television skies of Guthrie’s erstwhile home of Vancouver, Reliquary V now lurks amidst the brutalist ruins and Catholic crypts of Montréal.
